Products description
Cohiba Behike Ashtray Obsidian
With a weight of almost two kilograms, the new ashtray from Cohiba is by no means a lightweight. This one is not made of porcelain or glass like many other ashtrays, but of obsidian. This is a naturally occurring volcanic rock glass. Obsidian is of high density, which is reflected in the considerable weight of this ashtray. The ashtray is made in Armenia, where this rare obsidian comes from. The mining site is located at an altitude of over 4,000 m in the Aragaz volcanic massif. The special coloring is caused by inclusions of iron. Incidentally, the term "obsidian" goes back to the Roman Obsius, who is said to have brought the first obsidian from Ethiopia to Rome in ancient times. The ashtray has four shelves made of stainless steel. A metal application in the center shows the logo of the Cohiba Behike brand. There are only 500 examples of this luxury ashtray worldwide.
