The Venezuelan independence fighter Simón Bolívar was one of the great historical figures of the 19th century. He liberated large parts of South America from Spanish colonial rule. The Bolívar brand, named after him, was launched in 1902 and is now manufactured in the Partagás factory in the heart of Havana.
It is hardly surprising that a Habano that bears the name of such an impressive personality is also blended in such a way that the taste reflects it. Bolívar is one of the strongest and most aromatic of all Habanos. It boasts an unsurpassed richness in its blend of filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo tobacco growing zone. This makes them one of the most searched brands among experienced smokers.
All formats are totalmente a mano, tripa larga – long fillers made entirely by hand. The brand is for experienced cigar smokers who prefer a strong taste.
