Every Cuaba is made in a special form, known as Double-Figurado. Those vitola were the most popular Habanos at the end of the 19th century. 100 years later, in 1996, the Romeo y Julieta factory, where the Cuabas are produced until today, revived this tradition. Double-Figurados are the peaks of the art of cigar making. For that reason they deserve a place in the collection of every aficionado. Cuaba just as Cohiba is a word of Taino Indians in the times of Columbus. It was the name of a highly flammable shrub, which the Indians used to kindel their 'cohibas'.
