After 30 years of making cigars in the Antonio Allones manufactory in 1882, the decision was made to launch a new brand of first-class quality and at high prices. With great confidence and little humility, it was dubbed El Rey del Mundo - The King of the World - and became a smash hit. At that time, these cigars were among the most expensive in the world.
The standard range today consists of two formats that are famous for their light to medium-bodied taste and persistence.
All formats are totalmente a mano, tripa larga - completely hand-made long fillers with filler and binder leaves from the tobacco-growing zone Vuelta Abajo.
