Not for the first time, Habanos has set up a legendary, historic cigar. We could notice many new productions lately of cigars whose production was discontinued long ago. The Por Larrañaga Picadores is another example. This format was already discontinued in the 1970s. At that time the cigar with a length of 127 mm and a ring measure of 44 was still relatively slim from today's point of view. Meanwhile most cigarsmokers are looking for wider ring dimensions. The resurrection now: same length, but a ring measure grown to 48. The format corresponds to the familiar Habanos format Hermoso No.4, which is slightly slimmer and longer than a typical Robusto. Another interesting feature is the ring Habanos used for this historic cigar: the Picadores No.1 has a ring with the brand logo on a red background. Por Larrañaga Picadores No.1 is available exclusively in the stores of La Casa del Habano and the Habanos Specialists.
