Only a tiny contingent of the most precious tobacco is grown on the fertile soils of the Mao region - where the three mighty rivers Mao, Gurabo and Yaque del Norte meet. Since the first harvest in 2002, Davidoff's world-famous master blender Eladio Diaz has personally monitored ripening. He maintains and cares for the tobacco leaves and uses regular taste tests to track when they reach their optimal ripening point. The leaves mature for at least 12 years and then it takes another 18 months to produce the finished cigar - a masterpiece and therefore only available in very small quantities. It is the perfect gift for cigar lovers who love the unusual enjoyment and want to fill the unforgettable moments in their lives with precious cigars.
