Macanudo French Oak Barrel Aged Churchill
Macanudo Estate Reserve Oak Barrel is the first cigar outside the U.S., thanks to working with Flint Knoll Winery, a Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco that has matured in the best French oak barrels in the world. These were previously used for the production of Flint Knoll’s Royal Appointment Cabernet Sauvignon. This particular wine comes from the 2019 Napa Valley production season, with the perfect combination of early rain and warm summer days. The Royal Appointment Cabernet Sauvignon is complex, with slightly fruity notes and spices. These features lend the barrels their unique and unmistakable character, which is reflected in the smoke experience of the cigar. The wine barrels of French oak, in which the tobacco ripens, give it special nuances that make it unique.
Those who enjoy the Macanudo Estate Reserve Oak Barrel can expect a spicy cigar with light notes of creamy vanilla, roasted almonds, dark currants and cedar wood.
Like most Macanudo cigars, the Macanudo Estate Reserve Oak Barrel is produced at General Cigar Dominicana in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.
