When producing the first ten thousand, Abe fulfilled his wish to give his new series a personal touch. He rolled all the wraps with his own hands. For twenty-two months, he sat down at a roller table in his PDR factory for two hours every morning and produced wrap after wrap. These were then covered by one of his torcedores with an H-2000 wrapper from Ecuador. How long it actually took Abe to make the ten thousand cigars remains his secret. For the filler, Abe uses a Dominican Piloto and a Broadleaf from Pennsylvania. The binder comes from Indonesia. Packed in sophisticated, white lacquered boxes of 10, the El Vinyet will delight all aficionados who enjoy complex, medium-bodied cigars that bring a hint of sweetness.
