The extremely dark wrapper of the Maduro line was specially selected for this series and aged for a further 2 years, as the dark coloring is intensified by storage. Only a maximum of 2% of the total harvest can be processed as wrapper leaves.
The balanced sweetness of the maduro wrapper is in stark contrast to its looks - it's extra smooth. The deposit is a successful and full-bodied blend of tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua. They are rich, complex and highly aromatic. The binder also comes from Honduras to emphasize the characteristics of the country of origin.
The result is a full, harmoniously balanced cigar from the wrapper to the filler with aromas of conifers and chocolate.
