It all started with a shade grown Olancho San Agustin wrapper, which is rich in essential oils due to ideal climatic conditions. In a complex refinement process, this leaf gives the cigar its unique rosada appearance and an earthy, medium to full-bodied aroma. To achieve the exceptional and complex, medium to full-bodied taste, the Olancho San Agustin wrapper was used with a spicy Jamastran Seco binder and a blend of Honduran, Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos. The Nicaragua Viso tobacco used for the filler is grown on the fertile volcanic island of Ometepe on Lake Nicaragua and gives the cigar strength and spice.
