S.T. Dupont Lighter

S.T. Dupont is a French manufacturer of luxury accessories based in Paris and is best known today for its lighters.
Simon Tissot-Dupont (born 1847), founder and namesake of the company, acquired a workshop in 1872 that made leather briefcases for diplomats and business people.
During the Second World War, S.T. Due to the poor availability of the raw materials, Dupont stopped the production of leather articles and instead produced the lighters that are known to this day. After the end of the war, the production of the old product line was resumed, the successful lighters remained an integral part of the range.
