The traditional company Chapuis Comoy, founded in 1825, is the oldest existing pipe manufacturer in the world. In the middle of the mountainous and wild landscape of French Joura is the pipe mecca of Saint Claude, where pipes were first made from the root wood of Erica Arborea, better known as briar.
The owner of the company, Antoine Grenard, is a trained industrial designer and a direct descendant of the founding family Comoy, who also founded a branch in London (Comoy of London). In addition to a large number of wonderful old models, there are also modern creations in the range.
