He is very intelligent and cunning, but also clumsy. He talks quite vulgar with a very distinct dialect. He was liked by most people, but the high society did not want to be seen on one of his shows. 
The costume is made of a long white robe, a black half mask with a long bird-like nose and a pointed hat. 
Savinelli used these colours in the mouthpiece of the Pulcinella pipes, which was artfully crafted with countless layers.
